Buddy walked around and sniffed the air he growled at a pigeon it flew away, he sniffed around and marked his scent, therefore claiming the square as right fully his, in dog's eyes any way.

A sleek form trotted into the area. It was a she. Her coat was silvered, and in all senses she looked as a wolf, but her height told her as a part-bred. She showed the leader her throat, waiting to see of he would tear it out or not.

Buddy looked at the half breed, he nodded his head to the other she dog, and went on his business, this she dog didn't seem to mean any harm, but if she did any, he would take care of it......

She nodded in return, and trotted gracefully toward the shadows. 'Twas out of mere habit, nothing other. She stretched out there, and watched. She was a passerby, without a true home just yet, and was only checking out the heart of the city.

Buddy watched the other half breed walk into the shadows, he wondered if she was hungry or scared r what, he smelt something coming from the concession stand, something no one has ordered in weeks......nachos.....he stood for a moment thinking it wasn't real, then recognizing that this was indeed reality, he bolted through the people barking madly making them all run and scream, making no one really paying attention to what he was doing, he jumped up and snatched the tray of nacho right out of the consumers hand and ran back to were he was first with the half breed, he brought the nachos over to the half breed and nudged the nachos close to her, he ran down a near by alley and came back with an old worn out coat, he lay it over the half breed's back, and stepped back going across the alley way to his bed of worn coats and went in his usual circles laid down took a last look at the terrified people, the other female dog, and went to sleep. Knowing that both of them would be safe.

She smiled, though by now he was indeed asleep. The coat felt rather comfortable on her back as she began to eat.
It had indeed been a while since her last meal, and if itwere not for her glorious coat, her ribs would be showing. She consumed the rest of the nachos, gratefull for them, and began to drift into a sleep.
As she drifted, she glanced at the now milling people, luaghing in her brain as she did so. She stretched slightly further, and slept.

With bright rays of the afternoon sun coming into his eyes, buddy realized it was indeed afternoon, he looked up and around and people on their lunch hour were scattered about, he got up sniffed the air, and went around to scout for food, as he watched people order around the concession stand, he became more and more disappointed. All the people were ordering was salads....ugh. No one didn't order croutons, not even ranch or a strip of chicken. He gave up on fresh food, he was very hungry, and he was desperate, he regretted it, because he didn't like to kill, he hated to kill unless he had to. He looked around, then he saw something, it was a miracle. KFC bucket of chicken, he ran over, it was full then he realized the woman standing right next to it, digging through her purse to pay for it. She saw the dog and screamed. She took her purse and whacked Buddy in the face with it, he fell back and got up like he was hurt then he lunged fro the bucket, grabbed it and ran back to his piles of coats. he emptied the bucket and gave half to the other dog, he put the pieces by her front legs. he went back to his pallet of worn jackets ate the rest OS his chicken, but he knew how to eat the chicken, without getting chocked, but he wondered if the female dog did, so he stayed awake, waiting for when the female would wake up,

The rays of the sun drowzily came upon her, even in the shadows, and she rose. She carefully removed the blanket from her back, placing it neatly in the ally. She looked at her front paws, there was food there! She looked at The other, and nodded thanks.
Right away she knew it was chicken, and how to eat it. She tore away at it, carefully of the tricky small bones in a wing and leg. Though she would not admit it, she had killed chickens and ate them, for it was only her way. She quickly finished, leaving nothing but bones, no trace of meat left on them.
